If it didn’t have cheap hits,etc. Then I would probable be thinking its not a NES game.

yeah, have never played ANY Bonk game. I remember asking mom for a TG-16 and she telling me that it was too expensive. So I lived without.

Have you not played any games in the series, then? I have Bonk’s Adventure and Bonk’s Revenge on the TG-16, and both are excellent platformers. I have yet to get into Bonk 3, as I currently only have a GameCube controller to use (though the Wii Classic Controller is on the way).

It’s just too bad this game suffers from cheap hits/deaths and slowdown, though this is common fare for an NES game.

I’ve always wanted to play bonk, I never did. Even on Emulators.

No problem, I enjoy treading/listening to what the average gamer has to say.

I believe that its important to maintain and build a healthy gaming community.

For one it helps to establish respect and courtesy when playing games online. So we help reduce the vulgarity and rudeness that seems to follow online play.

Its always interesting to to see what other gamers are saying, its often better than what the guys say who get paid to play and review the games.

Like yourself, this gaming blog is more of a hobby. But it many be influenced by the fact that I do make games for a living. But I enjoyed video games long before I was game artist.

Unfortunately, I’ve been busy enough with my work (which is regrettably not in the game industry) that I haven’t been able to post. I even have the Astyanax review written and ready to post (it’s been up at Defunct Games for a while now), but I haven’t uploaded the video to YouTube, so I haven’t posted the review here.

I haven’t had a chance to play Alone in the Dark yet, either. Work is going to let up in a few weeks, though, so maybe I’ll get back into it.

I haven’t got into it yet, but I’m actually looking forward to playing it. Supposedly, the controls are far better on the PS3 than they were in any of the other versions.

I’ll try to play it soon and report back on my impressions.
